Why We Built This Site
Archer County does not have a public searchable warrant database in the official sources reviewed. That makes it important to identify the court before checking a case. The 97th District Court, County Court, four JP precincts, and four municipal courts do not share one public file. The Archer County Sheriff provides general routing and custody contact, but its page does not list a warrant search or a separate warrant-unit phone.
The County Clerk, District Clerk, JP clerks, and city courts each handle different records. Texas DPS and OmniBase cover certain license-compliance reports for participating courts, not every active warrant. This reference organizes those local distinctions and links to official sources so a reader can ask the right office about their own case or a family member’s.
What You Will Find Here

- Court obligations: how bench warrants relate to a missed date, an existing case, and lower-court safeguards
- Arrest process: what arrest warrants contain and which office handles custody versus court status
- Local city matters: how traffic citations and municipal warrants stay with the issuing court, plus how to verify a tip-program link
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not an Archer County, Texas court or law-enforcement office. Its limits are clear:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm a person’s current status
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that every contact, fee, schedule, or linked record is current
Only the issuing court or responsible law-enforcement office can confirm the record and current action. The Sheriff’s published number is a general route, not a dedicated public warrant desk.
Search Partners
Some pages include sponsored search tools run by outside providers. Those companies set their own prices, handle their own services, and decide what appears in their results. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports this reference site. Archer County does not operate those tools, and their output is not an official court or Sheriff warrant check.
